Originally, grown only in high altitudes in Fujian, this tea got its name from the fact that it was picked by monkeys particularly trained for this purpose. Nowadays it is picked by human hands in a period of only a few days per year. The roughish, slightly downy leaf produces a light-green, smooth cup with a slight note of honey.

這種茶原本只生長在福建的高海拔地區，由經過專門訓練的猴子進行採摘，因此而得名。如今是由人工採摘了，不過一年中它的採摘期只有短短幾天時間。茶葉粗糙帶有少量絨毛，茶湯為淡綠色，口感順滑微甘。
